The Palace of Versailles

The Palace of Versailles was built by King Louis XIV and renovated and added on to by his successors. The place is massive.  It is truly unbelievable how big this place is.  Unfortunately, because the place is so large, I really couldn't get a single picture to show the scope of it.  It is big and opulent, very opulent.  And in its day, it was supposedly even more audacious!

Here are a few pictures from the interior of Versailles.  Sorry about the quality of these photos, but I could not use a flash, or a tripod, for the interior shots so therefore everything is either too dark or too grainy.
